Matt DeVries, a husband and father of five (soon to be six) young children, lives in Nashville, Tennessee. During the day, he is a litigation attorney with a construction botique law firm. During the evenings, he fulfills any number roles in his homeschooling family, including math teacher, principal and even janitor.
Matt and his wife Courtney started growingandgrowing.com in 2003 to chronicle the tales of their three young children. In 2008-2009, the site became a hub to learn about the miraculous recovery of Matt's father, a local Nashville pastor who was involved in a near fatal car crash. More recently, Matt shares what it takes to balance family and work, love a wife, train some children, and prevail in life ... all while trying to lose a few pounds.
